Ashley Judd is one smart cookie coming from a family of performers. Her mother, Naomi Judd, is famous. But one thing that sets her apart from the rest of the Judds? She enrolled in Harvard.

In total, she attended 13 schools before attending at the University of Kentucky. According to The Richest, she pursued Harvard for her mid career master's program. She took Public Administration at Harvard's Kennedy School of Government. Meryl Streep was her classmate!

She enrolled for the purpose of knownig more about public service and to concentrate her career to care for global humanitarian needs and political efforts. She is a known advocate for women.

Born in 1968, the actress still looks like she has not aged a bit. She is known for her acting career that has spanned for over twenty years. Though she is a veteran actress in her own right, she is much more involved in Global Humanitarian efforts.

As a child, she spent her first education at Marin County, California. In the 13 schools she attended in, some of them are Sayre School in Lexington, Kentucky, Paul G. Blaer School in Ashland and Franklin High School in Tennessee. This University of Kentucky alumni has majored in French, minored in anthropology, art history, women's studies and theater.

She also studied abroad from the UK Honors program. Through her studies and beyond, she is much more focused on her humanitarian work, though. Her work revolved around AIDS. She visited countries like Cambodia, Kenya and more that has been affected by the illness. She is actively making her rounds and educating people about humanitarian issues. But that does not mean she has stopped acting.

She is best known for her role in the recent Divergent Trilogy: Insurgent.
