Celebrities and notable men and women often get acknowledgments from different prestigious platforms due to their success in their field of study. In this case, a veteran actress like Meryl Streep earned the same. She has received three Ivy League honorary doctorates - so far. Her next movie should be about her!

The classic and tenured performer has garnered four honorary doctorate degrees so far, according to Business Insider. She did so without ever stepping foot inside a classroom. Three of those degrees come from Ivy League schools in the whole country which are Harvard, Princeton and Yale.

The fourth degree she received from Indiana University. She received a Doctorate of Fine Arts due to her cinematic talents, successes and her advocacy for women. Has she ever set foot in a college area before? Certainly. She has earned a degree from Vassar College.

Born in 1949, she is described to be the best actress of her generation. However, Meryl Streep objects to this designation. She considers herself to be a versatile actress. In total, Meryl Streep has more nominations than any other actor or actress in history. She started her education at home. Her mother taught her confidence at a young age. She was a mentor because she said to me, 'Meryl, you're capable. You're so great.' She was saying, 'You can do whatever you put your mind to. If you're lazy, you're not going to get it done. But if you put your mind to it, you can do anything.' And I believed her."

She then enrolled in Bernards High School at Bernardsville, New Jersey. She graduated senior high in 1966. She was a gawky kid with glasses and frizzy hair, describes Author Karina Longworth. But her love for the camera started early. She sang at a school recital when she was 12 and enrolled for opera lessons. In high school, she appeared in several school plays. She went to college in 1971 and received her Bachelor of Arts cum laude from Vassar College. She then applied for a Master of Fine Arts from the Yale School of Drama.

At one point, she worked herself too hard to support her Yale studies that she thought of quitting acting and switching to law.
