Asus launched its entire ZenFone 3 series including Zenfone 3 Deluxe, Zenfone 3 Ultra, Zenfone 3 Laser and the Zenfone 3 in India in an event at New Delhi on Wednesday, August 17.

The ZenFone 3 is the first model to go on sale. The base model comes with a 5.2-inch 1080p display, 32 GB storage, 3 GB of RAM and is powered by a smaller 2650mAh battery. The more expensive model, on the other hand, has a 5.5-inch 1080p display, 64 GB storage, 4 GB of RAM and a comparatively robust 3000mAh battery. It is powered by a Snapdragon 625 processor.

The device boasts a 16 MP rear camera with f2.0 aperture, 4k video recording and OIS, an 8 MP front shooter, fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C, hybrid dual SIM slot and runs on Android 6.0.

The base model is priced at INR 21,999 (about $328) and is up for grabs across online retailers including Amazon, Flipkart, Snapdeal, ShopClues, Paytm, Tata CLiQ and in chain store, Sangeetha Mobiles. It is expected to hit the shelves in offline retails outlets before the end of this month, GSM Arena reported.

The Flagship model, ZenFone 3 Deluxe features a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED 1080p display, 23 MP rear camera, an 8 MP front snapper, a 3000mAh battery and hybrid dual SIM slot. The base model is powered by Snapdragon 820, and comes with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB storage and is priced at INR 49,999 (about $747). The more expensive variant runs on the latest Snapdragon 821 with 256 GB storage and 6 GB of RAM, and is priced at INR 62,999 (about $941).

The ZenFone 3 Ultra sports a mammoth 6.8-inch display and runs on a Snapdragon 652 with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB storage. It features a 23 MP rear camera and an 8 MP front shooter for the selfie addicts. It is powered by a sturdy 4600mAh battery that is capable of charging other devices as well. The ZenFone 3 Ultra comes with a price tag of INR 49,999 (about $747), making it Asus' costliest smartphone in India till date, The Times of India reported.

The ZenFone 3 Laser will be the cheapest phone in the recently-announced range. The device comes with a 5.5-inch 1080p display and runs on a Snapdragon 430 processor with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB storage. Other features include a fingerprint sensor, hybrid dual SIM slot and a 3000mAh battery. ZenFone 3 Laser is priced at INR 18,999 (about $283).

The aforementioned ZenFone 3 series that encompass ZenFone 3 Deluxe, ZenFone 3 Ultra, and ZenFone 3 Laser, will hit the store shelves from September this year across all leading e-commerce websites such as Amazon, Flipkart, Snapdeal, ShopClues, Paytm, Tata CLiQ, in addition to Asus Exclusive Stores and major retail stores across India.
