Nvidia has just unleashed the powerful Pascal based graphics card to equip your laptops 

Laptop users can finally get better performing devices with the newly launched Nvidia GeForce GTX 10 series.

Previously, laptop makers have announced their partnership with Nvidia to use its Pascal based GPU, the GTX 1080, GTX 1070 and GTX 1060 in their gaming devices. These vendors include MSI, ASUS, Lenovo, Acer, HP and Clevo, PC World wrote.

The differently configured chip offers different performance that gives a significantly better output for the notebooks lineup. This is the first time in history where Nvidia finally released the GTX GeForce 1060, 1070, and 1080 to laptop without any tweak in the laptop's hardware. There are slight adjustments in performance with improved overclocking too.

And here are the details for each GeForce GTX 10-series.

Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080

Laptops that will use GTX 1080 will have the same chip but it will get 1,507 base clock, 1,733MHz boost clock, 2560 CUDA cores, 8 GB GDDR5X and GP 104 GPU.

Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070

GTX 1070 for laptops will get its core increased, from 1,920 to 2,048 CUDA cores. It has 1443 base clock (lower than the original) and 1m645 MHz boost clock.

Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060

Same chip with lower base clock of 1,405 MHz. it has 1280 CUDA cores and GP 106 GPU. It's got 1,670 boost clock and 6 GB of GDDR5.

GTX 10 Series for notebooks are power efficient

The GTX 10-series that arrives in laptops will deliver better gaming experience especially for VR. Nvdia claims that the pascal based architecture for the laptop devices offer power saving feature especially for notebook in thin size. Whilst the gaming performance may rely on other components within the laptop, it is said that the three GTX 10 series will be within 10 percent of desktop GPU equivalents.
