Razer just released the world's first ever Mechanical Keyboard Case for iPad Pro.  It is a sleek design perfect for iPads and costs just like Apple's Smart Keyboard.

The Mechanical Keyboard comes in a sleek design with matte black color. It also has a detachable polycarbonate wrapping and works as a protective cover for the tablet. It uses Bluetooth connectivity instead of Smart Connect. The product also comes with a metal kickstand to support iPad Pro's massive weight. The keyboard also has 600 hours of maximum usage when the backlight is not turned on. It has a low profile switches that needs 70 grams of force in order for the press to be recognized, according to YIBADA.

The device's low profile mechanism makes it a very good typing keyboard. The speed is comparable to MacBook or MacBook Air. It is a device for keyboard response and accuracy. The keyboards also has a few oddities. One of which is the position of the arrow keys: they are shoved aside to the left because of the presence of another button which is used to hide or bring out the software keyboard. This oddities could be a problem since most people are expecting that the right arrow is on the edge of the keyboard. Also, command keys are oddly small, The Verge reported.

There are also several things that caused this device to be impractical: it is bulky. The hinge support makes it take a lot of space. Also, it has a laptop design which means that there is a wide space between the user's hand and the iPad screen.

Another drawback is the Bluetooth connection. It take some time for the keyboard and iPad to pair. The Smart Connection that Apple's Smart keyboard uses on the other hand is much easier to use. This however, means that you can use the keyboard while detached from the device or even use it for an entirely different device.

This keyboard is targeted to consumers who want their iPad to turn into a laptop with a cool keyboard. This legit breakthrough is now out  on the market and costs almost the same as Apple's Smart Keyboard: $169.99.
