"Clash of Clans" might be out for a very long time but it is still very famous around the world. This September, the mobile game will have a big update that would fix over-powered troops strategy that would change most of people's gameplay.

Supercell has confirmed that a new update will be out this September. Just like any other September updates, the upcoming patch is a big one. It is expected to make changes on the current gameplay because it is imbalance. However, official announcement of the details is not yet revealed by Supercell. Latest reports says that a new defense systems, buffs, and troop nerfs are coming, YIBADA reported.

The idea of balancing the troops is welcomed by fans. According to a staff in Supercell, Anoushka, there will be a balancing that people would complain about. She agreed to a fan who said that villages with level 11 town halls should not be easily three-starred. Also, she said that the ideal nerfing of the troops would be "indirectly", however, this is not always the case. Furthermore, she said that even small tweaks on a unit risks going down from too over-powered to ineffective. She cited the Witches as an example in her post in the Supercell's official forum.

There will be adjustments on the damages of the Lightning and Earthquake Spells. The lightning spell's bolts are now closer which means it deals more damage to the targeted building. The earthquake spell, on the other hand, becomes a fixed damage instead of basing on the remaining HP. There is also a change in the Poison Spell's rate of damage which begins at a relatively low DPS and then increases over time.

Additionally, Lava Hounds cannot attack air units anymore. And there are also minor changes such as the one week shield which would be available for players in Titan League II and III.

Supercell is also preparing for another huge update to be released during the ClashCon in October 2016.
