Google has denied the plan the plans of merging Android and Chrome OS, but the company is now developing an operating system that could run almost every device by combining the Linux-based android OS and the Chrome OS. This could be the most versatile operating system ever developed.

In less than one month, Google will release Android Nougat. However, Google has more plans for the mobile OS than what is expected.

The search giant is currently developing an operating system called Fuchsia. It appeared on Google's Git repositories and is described with an equation that combines "Pink" and "Purple" to create a new OS which is the "Fuchsia". It seems that Google is creating this new OS from scratch. Future details about Fuchsia is expected to be revealed, according to Phoronix.

The Fuchsia's kernel is sporting high-end features which includes a capability-based security model.  It can also support an old processor designs that dates back to 1985, the ARM architecture. Powered by Magenta and LK kernel, Fuchsia can power high-tech smartphones and PCs and is able to target small systems, YIBADA reported.

The new OS can be found on GitHub and can be ran on a computer or a virtual machines by developers who want to try it. It uses Dart programming language which is owned by Google. Travis Geiselbrecht, said that the new Fuchsia OS would run on the Raspberry Pi 3.

Fuchsia could replace Chrome OS and Android as well as other OS for Google devices such as the Chromecast or even Brillo. However, there are still no assurance that this new OS could tie both Chrome OS and Android because there is still no official announcement about it. There is only one thing that is very sure as of the moment: it is that Google is up to a bigger project.
