While zealous "Pokemon Go" fans continue to go berserk over hunting and catching Pokemon, the augmented reality game has taken over the mobile gaming realm by storm. The game encourages players to delve into the real world in a bid to get their hands on their favorite Pokemon. However, not everyone is thrilled about stepping outside the comfort of their homes. As a consequence, quite a few players look for cheats, hacks, tricks and tips to catch Pokemon without leaving home or even walking.

Players are using a slew of GPS spoofing techniques and apps to level up.

Fans realize that "Pokemon Go" is basically a game that pushes players to turn their neighborhood inside out to find, capture and battle the beasts. However, to go far in the game, players need to go beyond their stomping ground.

The key to ace the game and be the ultimate "Pokemon Go" master is going out in the real world, walking around and exploring the environment. However, for some players, this is the most challenging facet of the game.

The elemental trick to expedite the process of catching Pokemon is to use Incense.

How Incense Work

Incense: As soon as activated, a timer appears and the player can capture Pokemon that show up in the real world while just moving around in the house. Its worth noting that incense only lasts for 30 minutes and each players gets only a couple of incense when the game starts. A player can shop for more, but one incense costs 80 Pokecoins and to buy Pokecoins, one needs to pay real money.

Meanwhile, some players have developed a series of "Pokemon Go" hacks and cheats. By deceiving the phone's GPS system into believing that you are in a different region, players can capture Pokemon without even leaving home. Android-based smartphone users can download an app from PlayStore, iOS users however will need a jail broken iPhone to use this hack.

Nevertheless, this technique is obviously cheating and Niantic does not approve of it. Many players using the trick have been banned.

Thanks to the latest update for "Pokemon Go," capturing Pokemon via GPS spoofing apps has become more difficult. The team behind the hit location-based game has not only removed the "nearby" feature but also ousted the access to third party apps. However, this hasn't put a lid on "Pokemon Go" cheats and tricks as they continue to surface online.

Most Impressive GPS Spoofing Hacks

One of the most effective hacks to play the game using GPS system made an appearance online in a video posted on YouTube (via jdsika), The Verge reported.

The aforementioned GPS spoofing method does not require an app but a radio-frequency-shielded box as well as a signal generator in order to spawn bogus GPS signal. Here's how it works:

The phone with "Pokemon Go" app needs to be placed in this box. The phone then receives signal and takes it as the phone location. This method is quite different than the typical GPS spoofing technique using apps and software which functions through joystick and Google earth. Although the hack seems to be impressive, it's quite elaborated and involves the risk of getting banned by Niantic.

GPS Spoofing Using "Pokemon Go" APK

Another "Pokemon Go" hack to "catch 'em all" without leaving the house is GPS Spoofing with the help of a modified APK. However, this method requires the player to start from scratch using an alternate account, TheBitBag reported.

For this hack to work, the players need to install the game using a modified "Pokemon Go" APK. Once the game is installed, launch GPS spoofing app which enable the user to falsify his/her location and allow the player to catch their favorite Pokemon without actually leaving the house. While applying this hack, its crucial to deactivate Google location history. This prevents Niantic from detecting that the player might be using fake location.

That being said, by using these "Pokemon Go" modified APK, GPS spoofing, hacks and tricks, players are likely to get banned. Besides, the "Pokemon Go" APK file could contain malicious programs.
