She portrayed Elle Woods but she is more than that. Actress Reese Witherspoon has accumulated various successes and accomplishments in her career. But most of it would not be possible if she did not get her higher education.

Reese Witherspoon, according to the Brit, has the brains to match the beauty. She previously studied English Literature at Stanford University but went on leave since 1996.

Be that as it may, Reese Witherspoon's net worth rose to $80 million. The actress who was born in 1976 was born in Louisiana and raised in Tennessee. She started as a child actress and made her professional debut in 1991's "The Man In The Moon." She had a knack for acting even as a child because she was nominated for a Young Artist Award.

As a child, she received high grades in school. She loves to read books. Witherspoon then attended middle school at Harding University. Eventually, she graduated from an all-girl's school called Harpeth Hall School in Nashville. Later on, She attended Stanford University and majored in English literature. Most celebrities did take English Literature prior to pursuing their passion for acting of filming.

But she did not finish her studies. After a year, she left to pursue acting.

Eventually, she had garnered multiple break out roles but he is known for her role as Elle Woods in "Legally Blonde." With that, she earned international recognition and won her second Golden Globe nomination. She did not only succeed as an actress but she also succeeded in empowering women.

It is not known when she will get back to her studies but it is noted that she did very well in Stanford. Now, she owns her own production company called the Pacific Standard. She is highly involved in women's advocacy groups as well.
