iPad Pro 2 will be like the iPhone 7 in most parts. To be reportedly released in early 2017, it said to carry iPhone 7's A10X, camera capabilities and True Tone display. Along with the confirmation of the new device came rumors that Apple is working on the iPad Pro 2 in order to compete with Microsoft's Surface Pro 5.

Not much information has been revealed of what iPad Pro 2 could offer yet. However, it is the second flagship of Apple's premium tablet which makes people expect that it will have a much-improved processor, graphics and sound quality.

Rumor has it that iPad Pro 2 will carry a 64GB base model rather than 32GB, Mirror reported. The upcoming premium tablet is also expected to use the new USB-C connection as a replacement to the headphone jack. The design feature was initially used in iPhone 7, which is believed to be applied across all iPads, including the iPad Pro 2.

The iPad Pro 2 is suggested to come with a 12-inch screen with an adaptive display. This would let the device automatically adjust the brightness and color of the screen. Other rumored features of the new Apple tablet include a smart connector, Quad-speakers and it is also expected to carry an Apple Stylus Pencil and a Smart Keyboard setup.

Meanwhile, Apple fans were shocked to see the leaked iPad Pro 2 images posted on the official Twitter account of AppleInsider two months ago. The image seemed to be a next-generation iPad with an unknown device identification number, which suggests that Apple is preparing the production of iPad Pro 2, AppleInsider reported.

The iPad Pro 2 photos were reportedly sent by an anonymous Chinese source who is currently working on an iPad Pro model. The instance is what started the rumors that the iPad Pro 2 will go on production.

iPad Pro 2 official release date has not been confirmed by the company yet. However, sources claim that the tablet will be launched alongside iPad Mini 5 and iPhone 7. Watch Apple iPad Pro 2 official trailer here.
