"The Chronicles of Narnia" is confirmed to be rebooted by TrisStar Pictures, and the story will start on "The Silver Chair." This fantasy novel, written by C.S. Lewis, is the fourth published novel in "The Chronicles of Narnia."

It has been six years since the "Chronicles of Narnia" franchise hit the theaters. Now, a division of Sony, TriStar, is teaming up with The Mark Gordon Company, The C.S. Lewis Company, and eOne for the story adaptation of "The Silver Chair." The "Life of Pi" screenwriter David Magee will adapt this upcoming film, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Magee, the Oscar-nominated screenwriter of "Finding Neverland" and "Life of Pi" is going to write the script. According to Mark Gordon, the film adaptation of "The Silver Chair" will "Introduce this new, magical chapter of the Narnia franchise to fans around the world, both old and new."

In 2005, Lewis' "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" was adapted, and the "Prince Caspian" was adapted in 2008. These film adaptations were distributed by Disney. The cast members were William Moseley, Anna Popplewell, Skandar Keynes, and Georgie Henley as the four Pevensie siblings.

"The Voyage of the Dawn Treader" was released in 2010 by Fox. The cast members were Lucy (Henley), Edmund (Keynes), and Prince Caspian (Ben Barnes), and Will Poulter as Eustace Scrubb.

The total earnings of the three previous films, in total, is $1.58 billion in total at the worldwide box office, according to BBC.

"The Silver Chair" follows the story of Eustace's second trip to Narnia. He will be accompanied by his classmate Jill Pole. As they are running away from the bullies at their school, they find themselves in Narnia. They meet the lion Aslan, who will task them with finding and rescuing the missing Prince Rillian, son of King Caspian.
