Fans have been waiting for the long return of the popular anime series, "Attack on Titans", on its Season 2. The previous reports and rumors that previously surfaced on the Internet was now confirmed.

The first season of the "Attack on Titan" was well-received by anime fans around the world. The previous rumors about the series' season two is now confirmed and will premiere in 2017. Reports however, cannot seem to agree on the exact date except that the series will return early next year.

The second season of the famous series will pack new experiences for its viewers. The anime's second season is now in production with its focus on the "Uprising Arcs" and "Clash on Titans" chapter. It can be recalled that there were some slight delays due to problems faced in creating the Japanese anime's plot and characters. The second season would also have a plot of its own and is not a sequel of the first season. The script was already set last month and viewers can expect to see more new faces and be surprised, Game n Guide reported.

The plot would also show an uprising led by Captain Erwin Smith. The rich background of the Reiss family would be explored and the truth may finally be revealed.

A new Titan could also be introduced as a new character. This Titan is reported to be an extraordinary one. Being a Titan could be bad enough but this one would even be smarter. Like Eren and some others this new Titan character would be a shapeshifter and goes by the name Zeke in his human form, Ecumenical News reported.

While there are reports surfacing saying that the Season 2 will air on February next year, fans of the famous "Attack on Titan" should wait for more details and confirmation from the anime series' creators
