Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has once again surfaced renders that reveal the front and back of the handset's Gold variant. The leak, which happened just before Samsung officially launches the device, shows the device's shiny and metallic box.

The said leak clearly pictured the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 looking a lot like the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge in terms of build, GSM Arena reported. The device is also noticeably boxier because of the display panel's slightly curved sides.

A Sprint planogram was also leaked internally by a Sprint employee, containing key information on what consumers would expect from the smartphone in order to help sell the product. In the Sprint planogram, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is described as big, bold and beautiful. It is then followed by a bulleted list of the device's features.

Some features of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 that are included in the planogram is the device's faster S Pen with the most precise autofocus, a dual-edge Super AMOLED display, and a 64GB internal storage. There is an allowable storage extension through the use of a microSD card of up to 256GB memory.

Another Samsung Galaxy Note 7 entry in the planogram states that the device will be water-resistant. The device has previously passed IP68 certification, PC Advisor reported.

There is no information in the planogram about the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 having an iris scanner though. The planogram is supposed to list the key features of the smartphone, which may mean that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 5 successor will not have an iris scanner as previously rumored.

Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will be unveiled during Samsung's unpacked event which will be simultaneously held in Rio, London and New York City respectively. Pre-orders are said to be starting on or soon after the Aug. 2 announcement date. Rumors also surfaced that Samsung's new flagship will be available in Europe as early as Aug. 16.
