The new version of Google on its popular Maps app looks to be adding up a whole bunch of new functions.

The update seems to be a huge news, for the reason that it could include text-based alerts notifying users to parking shortages at their destination. The Google Maps update will allow users to account for not just enroute traffic, but also getting the best spot once that person will get there.

But, it's not like Google can actively trail down open spaces, the service will most likely be based on the quantity of spaces available in a given area while taking into account time of day and nearby public events, according to Engadget.

The new feature of Google Maps is very helpful, especially if a person is driving to places they have never visited before. Google will inform that person if parking in that area is easy, medium, or hard, based on the report of Android Police.

Google made it known that they are determining the areas of interest through an algorithm that calculates the concentrations of businesses around an area, but it needs actual people for assistance in larger cities like Los Angeles, The Next Web reported.

The Google Maps v9.34 for Android will also include a couple of other useful features which are meant to improve overall usability. One of the handy feature is called "Keep map north up," and this feature is pretty straightforward. When enabled, the feature will keep a person North up, so that person will always know what's what, according to BGR.

The new update of Google Maps may also finally fix the issue where a person can accidentally reorient the map with an errant finger swipe and get that person completely turned around.

However, people need to wait for the official update release from Google.
