Rio Olympic is about to start this week, but it seems there is something missing in Brazil. There will be hundreds of thousands of spectators to participate in the event, about 2,500 medals prepared for the winning athletes, and about 450,000 condoms provided by event organizers, to be given to each athlete, however, there is no "Pokemon Go" in Brazil-and this is big deal.

Obviously, "Pokemon Go" is wildly popular worldwide. Fans in Brazil should now calm down, as the wildly popular gaming mobile app creators, Niantic and Nintendo, also want to launch it ahead of Rio Olympics, IB Times reported. The official "Pokemon Go" Twitter account announced, that they truly working hard to roll out the app in the country, so fans should "stay tuned."

After 30 minutes of posting the announcement, it garnered 8,000 retweets and 14,500 likes. Other online users responded to the tweet, begging the creators to do it quickly.

In a latest report, the mobile gaming app has been downloaded more than 100 million times, according to Engadget. The game requires users to catch virtual animated monsters that commonly called Pokemonsters, using phones. Unlike other mobile gaming apps, "Pokemon Go" requires you to travel where the virtual monster appears. The simple rules created rabid fans all over the world, including athletes who will participate in Rio Olympics.

As a matter of fact, a Japanese Olympic gymnast, Kohei Uchimura, was reported that he accidentally spent $5,000 in data charges in attempt to play the game in Brazil, according to Yahoo Sports.

Age and status in life won't limit gamers to play this mobile app. Another proof that people only aged, but young at heart, is the mayor of Rio de Janeiro's Eduardo Paes, who begged Nintendo to release "Pokemon Go" in the country, The Washington Post reported.

On Wednesday, August 3, the mayor took Facebook to beg the creators to launch the app on Aug. 5 so the Olympic spectators could catch Magikarp while watching the games.
