TLC is renewing its hit show "Breaking Amish" for a second season and is bringing in an all-new cast to a different city: Los Angeles.

In the first season, the TV network documented five young people from an Amish community trying to make a life for themselves in New York City. The show's main conflict centered on the massive culture shock they experienced of going from an ultra-conservative community to a very liberal environment.

"'Breaking Amish' is about the challenges and opportunities anyone faces when at a crossroads in life - deciding which path to take and finding your road to happiness," Amy Winter, General Manager of TLC, said in a statement. "With an all-new cast and a different, vibrant city, 'Breaking Amish: LA' opens the door to these fascinating lives and the journeys they all embark on, as they explore this new world in search of who they want to be - at the risk of everything they've ever had."

The new cast includes members of Amish and Mennonite communities:

Betsy, 21, is from an Amish community in Ohio and is already married to an Amish man, although she still wants to experience life outside the community.

Devon, 21, lives with his parents in an Amish community in Indiana and is conflicted about the outside world, but will give it a try.

Lizzie, 21, is from a large Amish family in Pennsylvania and has wanted to leave for some time, although her family disagrees.

Matt, 24, and his family joined the Mennonite faith when he was seven years old and now he wants to make a decision for himself regarding his future.

The Amish and Mennonite youth are allowed by their faith to explore the world outside their communities as part of "Rumspringa." In the tradition, after seeing what the world has to offer, the adolescent may choose to live on their own (and most likely be banned from their original community) or return home.
