Weekend means movie marathon to most people, especially for the Netflix subscribers. However, on Satruday, July 30, the streaming media went down worldwide.

Netflix went down on Saturday, but streaming media service appeared to be restored around 11:30 p.m. ET, Saturday, according to Digital Trends. Online users freaked out as they were on the binge of watching their favorite series, Netflix went black, thus making the subscribers dismayed.
After Netflix went down, many users took their social media accounts to announce that they were having technical difficulties or unable to connect to Netflix. Countries that were affected by outage were Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Switzerland, Argentina, Brazil, Norway, New Caledonia, Nicaragua, and New Zealand

Official Netflix account announced that there were errors were limited to the web browsers that affect sign-ups. They promised to subscribers that they will fix the errors asap and will keep subscribers posted. Well, the streaming service did not break their promise as after three hours, the problem was solved.

In the U.S., the outage occurred during Saturday-night prime time. In Australia, it happened around 11am on Sunday, July 31. The issues have been fixed, although there were some reports of smaller outages, according to SMH.

Based on Netflix page on Aussietages.com, the connectivity problems occurred around 1:30 PM, with 1,130 logged reports.

"Stranger Things" Season 1 received positive reviews. Rotten Tomatoes gave the series 94% score based on 50 reviews submitted. Season 1 story starts with the mysterious disappearance of a 12-year-old boy Will Byers. His mother, Joyce (Winona Ryder), becomes so desperate to find him, and the police authorities led by Police Chief Hopper, begins an investigation. Next day, a mysterious girl named Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), who has strange abilities appears, and becomes friends with Will's friends, Mike Wheeler (Finn Wolfhard), Lucas Sinclair (Caleb McLaughlin ) and Dustin Henderson (Gaten Matarazzo).
