Samsung has recently been rolling out Pro versions of quite a few Galaxy smartphones in India - the Galaxy On5, On7 and Galaxy J3 (2016); and now the Galaxy J2 (2016) is slated to get a Pro variant.
Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro has been launched in India and it is up for grabs for Rs 9,890 (about $147) exclusively on Snapdeal. Samsung Galaxy J3 Pro, a variant of Galaxy J2 (2016) sports comparatively robust specifications.
The 4G-enable Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro support two SIM cards and comes with Samsung's Make for India features such as Smart Glow and Turbo Speed Technology (TST).
Smart Glow technology alludes to a LED ring encompassing the rear camera which can be customized for notifications. According to Samsung, TST allow apps to open up to 40 percent faster as compared to devices packed with double the RAM.
In addition, the smartphone boasts S bike mode as well as Ultra Data Saving mode, IndianExpress reported.

The primary differences between the two Samsung smartphones are in terms of storage and memory.
The Samsung Galaxy J2 (2016) comes with 1.5 GB of RAM, coupled with 8 GB of inbuilt storage. The Galaxy J2 Pro on the other hand packs 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of inbuilt storage. Both smartphones sport expandable storage up to 128 GB via microSD card.
In terms of camera, the Galaxy J2 Pro sports an 8MP rear camera coupled with LED flash, and a 5MP front shooter for selfie addicts. Both, the rear and the front cameras boast an aperture of f/2.2.
Quite a few specs of the Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro match with the Galaxy J2 (2016) such as a 5-inch HD, 720x1280 pixel Super AMOLED display, 4G LTE connectivity, and 1.5GHz quad-core processor.
Plus, just like the Galaxy J2 (2016), the 8mm thin Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro is powered by a 2600mAh battery, NDTV Gadgets reported.

The smartphone will reportedly run Android Marshmallow and will be up for grabs in gold, silver and black color variants.
