"Two Guys and a Girl" actor Ryan Reynolds took to his Instagram handle (@vancityreynolds) to post an image that show Wade Wilson/Deadpool comically mutilating the men's bathroom door sign with depictions of Professor Xavier and Wolverine and changing the name to "X-Men."

Although forged, the image - that was later confirmed fan made by Mutant 101 - sparked speculations among fans that both Wolverine and Professor X are slated to make an appearance in Tim Miller's upcoming superhero film.

In the first "Deadpool," Wade Wilson/Deadpool makes jocular remarks about Professor X as well as Wolverine and if rumors doing rounds are anything to go by, fans would love to see that in the sequel as well.

New upcoming projects including, "Gambit," "Wolverine 3," "X-Force" and "New Mutants" are already set in order for Fox.

Production for "Deadpool 2" is slated to begin early 2017 as rumors hint the film will probably be linked to a Thanksgiving release date; provided the production finish filming and editing well in advance, Yibada reported.

Another possibility is that "Deadpool 2" will release on February 2018 - the same date first film was released - and it will compete against "Fifty Shades Freed" at the box office. James Foley's erotic romantic drama is slated to release on February 9, 2018 and already have comical promos taunting them, Fansided reported.

In other news, "X-Men: Apocalypse" star Evan Peters is inclined towards his character, Peter Maximoff/Quicksilver collaborating with the Merc with the Mouth as he told TheWrap.

Peters beleive "it would be really fun" to see them both in the same room. But that's not all, the "Kick-Ass" star also wants to have a solo movie for Quicksilver, but he quickly notes it will take about three years if that were to happen at all.

Citing the huge success of first "Deadpool" film, fans wanted to see Wade Wilson collaborating with slew of other X-Men members in the sequel just like Colossus (Stefan Kapičić) and Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand).

Reynolds confirmed he and the producers will commence work on the "X-Force" spin-off as soon as "Deadpool 2" is completed.

It looks like movie goers will need to wait with bated breath until further details n "Deadpool 2" surfaces online, which ideally would be within the year just before production starts next year.

Judging by this, it seems "Deadpool 2" might hit the theaters something in 2018, however until this is confirmed, fans are recommended to take these speculations with a grain of salt.
