"Dragon Ball Super" fans, brace yourself! The upcoming episode 53 will bring the real identity of Black Goku to light and will reveal Son Goku's opponent in the next installment.

The looming "Dragon Ball Super" episode 53 will reportedly feature Whiz, Beerus and Son Goku taking a trip to Universe 10 to meet the Kaioshin living there.

The three characters will rub eyeballs with Zamasu, who apparently is the puppet master behind Black Goku all along the 'Future Trunks' saga in the series, however, his plans and connection with Black Goku is still a mystery, Yibada noted.

That being said, one of Black Goku's plans is utter destruction of humanity as he continues to destroy everything in his path. Another clue is that Black Goku does not speak of himself as Saiyan and indicated that he always wanted to square off against Son Goku in his existing body, meaning it is a borrowed vessel.

This imply Zamasu is using a body that resemble Goku to exploit events in time to do his bidding and this could also mean he wants the other Kaioshin to be aware of his plans to destroy humanity as well as other inhabitants in galaxy simply to make his point.

"DBS" has released a new trailer that gives fans a major low-down on the upcoming episode 53.

Entitled "Reveal Black's True Identity! Now, to the Kaioshin Realm of Universe 10," "Dragon Ball Super" episode 53 now has a preview trailer that teases a showdown between Zamasu and Son Goku.

Although Zamasu and Son Goku are not fighting to death, both Black Goku and Zamasu boast the same Ki; Kaioshin and Beerus team up with Goku to challenge Zamasu to a battle simply to test and train Son Goku, Parent Herald reported.

Looks like a bad news for "DBS" fans waiting with bated breath for episode 53 as the much-awaited episode might not air on July 24 as scheduled. Apparently, the hit Japanese anime TV series is slated to take a week break and will air its episode 53 on July 31.

"Dragon Ball Super" Episode 54 - What To Expect?

Following "Dragon Ball Super" episode 53, fans will be able to see the "Dragon Ball Super" episode 54 dubbed, "Inheritor of the Saiyan Blood: Trunks' Resolve" and it will be aired on August 7.

In "Dragon Ball Super" episode 54, Son Goku and his friends are still trying to figure out if Zamasu and Black Goku is actually the same person as they feature same Ki.

Vegeta will offer Future Trunks further training and Future Trunks will accept it gladly.
