It was year 2002 when the first "XXX" movie first hit. Now, Vin Diesel will make a comeback as Xander Cage and become a deadly secret agentin the sequel, "XXX: Return of Xander Cage".

Vin diesel will make a return to a nostalgic film that became a hit in 2002, "XXX". The initial news of the movie's sequel has fueled a good amount of press in India as this movie would mark the debut on Hollywood of the Bollywood actress, Deepika Padukone. The actress initially shared a teaser on Instagram that mostly centered on her. However, a new trailer surfaced focusing on the main protagonist, Vin Diesel who becomes a secret agent under the National Security Agency (NSA). And he is still as deadly as before, Entertainment.ie reported.

Deepika Padukone, much tattooed, appeared just a few times in the teaser. Most of her appearance showcases beauty and some serious deadly moves. There is also appearances from the Australian model Ruby Rose as well as the football star from Brazil, Neymar Da Silva. The appearances of these icons generates some excitement from the audience.

The movie would also feature a few more characters including Donnie Yen, Nina Dobrev, Tony Jaa, and Samuel L. Jackson.

Initially, Vin Diesel did not want to do a sequel to "XXX" and should have been replaced by Ice Cube. However, the "Fast and Furious" performance made him decide to kick start another nostalgic action film, The Huffington Post reported.

Also, Conor McGregor was slated to appear in this movie, "XXX: Return of Xander Cage", but he backed out after his defeat in the fight against Nate Diaz. He will be replaced by UFC Middleweight Champion, Michael Bisping.

The movie, "XXX: Return of Xander Cage" will hit the theatres on 20 January 2017. The movie is directed by DJ Caruso.
