"Vice Principals" on HBO will have Walton Goggins as the main character of the comedy series. The character is clearly far from his character on the movie "The Hateful Eight."

"Vice Principals" is an upcoming series on HBO that will revolve around two high school administrators Lee Russell played by Goggins and Danny McBride as Neal Gamby. Both of them will join forces to bring down their new boss Dr. Belinda Brown, who will be played by Kimberly Hebert Gregory.

The "Vice Principals" is created by McBride and Jody Hill as a follow-up series to their previous comedy "Eastbound & Down," which was also on HBO.  The "Vice Principals" show will be Goggins first major leading role and will be humorous compared to his previous roles. The two has a lot of chemistry together on the set of "Vice Principals," which consists a lot of foul mouthed arguments despite the fact that the team up needs to take down a common enemy, Bollywood reported.

"Vice Principals" lead star Goggins said that he has not done any comedy shows, but thinks that the creators of "Vice Principals" make comedies out of drama. Goggins also said that the creator of "Vice Principals'" McBride did not want to hire known comedians, but rather an actor who is given a chance to be funny in dramas.

The "Vice Principals" creator, Mcbride said that he wanted a partner who knows drama and has a comic sensibility as well; not necessarily a cartoon. McBride said that Goggins called him back for the role in "Vice Principals" as if he was really Lee Russell and they just laughed it off.

"Vice Principals" is a comedy treat, but producers are confirming that it will not be the case all of the time. Goggins character, Russell on "Vice Principals," has a touch of sadness in his life, which is a common characteristic of just any human-being.

Aside from "Vice Principals," Goggins will play a role in History's featured series, "Six," which is about the Navy Seal Team 6. He will play a former Seal taken hostage, Local 724 Hollywood reported.

"Vice Principals" star Goggins played a racist sheriff of Red Rock town in Quentin Tarantino's brutal and bloody movie, "The Hateful Eight." This time on HBO's comedy series "Vice Principals," he will be playing a character opposite to the roles that he has been known of.
