"Dragon Ball Fusions" is set to be released in Japan on Aug. 4 for 3DS users only. The announcement made during the annual Anime Expo in Los Angeles, California also showed a new trailer featuring main characters Tekka and Pinich, as well as fusion characters.

The "Dragon Ball Fusions" new trailer has also been released on the company's Youtube channel. It introduced the game and its character fusions. One sample preview of fusion is young Goku and Krillin fused together and resulted in a hideous looking boy. It also introduces the main characters Tekka and Pinich, which can be customized for whatever a player wanted them to be.

"Dragon Ball Fusions" game's main characters Tekka and Pinich are transported to a Dragon World via a portal. In that Dragon World, there are different types of Dragon Ball characters from different parts of the universe. In the "Dragon Ball Fusions" universe, the Xenoverse, the player-character is tasked with partnering to different dimensions and time zones to save the Dragonball universe, Cinemablend reported.

The "Dragon Ball Fusions" is played like a 3D JRPG. There is a little change on its game sequences from what many Dragon Ball players may have been used to. The players can do adventures around the game world, as well as recruit and fuse to different characters that include the Frieza era, the GT era, the Dragon Ball Z hero squad, and those during the Broly era. Players can now also position and move around their team like a tactical strategy game.

The JRPG "Dragon Ball Fusion" means players use Metamo-ring that combines two characters to produce a new powerful character in the game ranging from different factions. There were also two TV commercials released by Bandai Namco which introduced the background of the game. They were catchy because of its rap soundtrack, Dualshockers reported.

"Dragon Ball Fusions" has not yet announced its possibility to be released in Western countries. For its popularity in Japan, it is believed to be released either later this year or next year in North America and Europe for the Nintendo 3DS.
