The CW's "Jane the Virgin" will return to television in just a few short months.

Fans of the show are still buzzing about the events of last season. Viewers are incredibly curious to know whether Jane, portrayed by Gina Rodriguez will finally break her oath of virginity this coming third season. In a report by TV Line, fans are also equally curious about the fate of her newly wedded husband Michael, played by actor Brett Dier, who in final episode was fatally shot by Susanna, who through a big twist, turns out to be Rose in disguise.

Well, it looks like fans will not have to be wait long for answers, as the fate of Michael may be immediately dealt with in the very first episode of season 3. The first episode will most likely tackle the aftermath and consequences of Michael's shooting.

During season two's last episode, viewer were shocked to find out that Susanna was in fact, Rose A.K.A. Sin Rostro in disguise. Rose in this season was allegedly killed by Mutter during a hostage taking incident. The reveal entails the then unveiled Rose to shoot Michael outside of his room. In a simultaneous scene, Jane accidentally shoved the snow globe that Michael gave her and it fell and shattered on the floor, just while Jane is getting ready to break her vows of chastity to Michael.

In an interview with actor Dier, he managed to share that he is saddened by the fact that Michael was shot in the final episode of the season. He does however urges fans to be calm as he confirms that his character will still be back for season 3. This also however does not confirm of which capacity he will be returning, whether he will be back to normal, nor does it even confirm that Jane will lose her virginity to him. This may be a logical turn, since season two also left viewers with the fact that Rafael still has strong feelings for Jane, and there is still that possibility that he may use this scenario to move closer to Jane.

The season 3 of The CW's Jane the Virgin will be back on air on October 17, Gamen Guide reported.
