The third installment of the Marvel's Thor movie franchise has started filming in Australia. This post seems to lead to new rumors about Thor's all-powerful hammer, Mjolnir.

In a report by Metro, this post led to new rumors over a pressumed transformation for Thor's mighty Mjolnir. It was also speculated that Thor will somehow lose his powerful hammer at some point in the movie.

In a report by Daily Mail, the stars of "Thor: Ragnarok," Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, and Tom Hiddleston are right now filming in Australia. The upcoming Marvel spectacle will be directed by Taika Waititi who is well-known for helming smartly done films like Hunt for the Wilderpeople, Flight of the Conchords, and the critically-acclaimed horror comdey, What We Do in the Shadows. An image that showed a multi-story complex that is built for the start of principal photography has surfaced, and also shows that the filming is set in the Queensland's Movie World.

Last July 4, the executive producer for "Thor: Ragnarok" is Marvel's very own Louis D'Esposito, unveiled the start of production via Twitter. He announced in his post that he wishes the best of luck to Taika Waititi and also wishes the entire cast and crew of Thor: Ragnarok well. He also officially announced that July 4 is the start of filming, with Australia in the future.

In an interview with Digital Spy, the executive producer also expressed his delight in having the opportunity to film in Australia. He said that the entire team behind the movie was very excited to film in such an incredible place. He also stated that Marvel Studios would like to express their gratitude to the Queensland Government for aiding them in making the film a reality. Thor: Ragnarok has been reported to spend $100 million in Queensland, Australia, as well as open more jobs to its residents during the production period.
