Samsung finally has something to say in a boastful manner when it comes to its competition with Apple Inc.

A data in a three-month period ending on May 2016, indicated the Samsung's core product "Galaxy S7" smartphones were sold in greater quantities than the "iPhone 6S" as well as the "iPhone 6S Plus." Samsung S7 took a 16 percent share of the market, compared to the 14.6 percent of the Apple's 6S line, based on the report of Kantar World Panel.

The facts and statistics collected together also found out that Samsung had the biggest share overall the United States market, with 37 percent compared to the 29 percent of Apple Inc. However, the Cupertino based company still commands a higher loyalty rating, with 88 percent of their current customers planning to purchase another iPhone, but Samsung's 86 percent of loyal customers still competes with Apple.

This is an indication that Apple has some work to do in regards with promotion of the expected launch of the "iPhone 7."

The recent statistics is actually a huge achievement for the South Korean multinational conglomerate company, which used to be very good at enticing individuals new devices, but awful at supporting and making their customers feel valued, according to The Verge.

However, Apple still has a more favorable position over Samsung in switchers. Some 14 percent of the previous Samsung phone owners intend to buy a new iPhone, while only 5 percent of Samsung device users previously owned an iPhone, Digital Trends reported.

Lauren Guenveur, analyst of Kantar, stated that the two tech giants have less to worry about from each other going forward, but Apple and Samsung must worry about from other competitors.

Samsung and Apple claimed the entire top 10 list of smartphones sold in the United States and UK markets. But, in the top 20, Sony in the UK and LG in the US made an appearance.
