"How to Get Away With Murder" Italian fan pointed out on Twitter that a specific episode will be shown again because an edit mistake was made, which will be aired again in Italian. A staff, reportedly, put a censorship on a love scene between Connor and Oliver.

Corriere Della Sera, an Italian director for Rai 2, said that a female editor mistakenly edited without his knowledge and approval. Because of this, the original version of the scene would be aired again, Huffington Post reported.

"How to Get Away With Murder" creator and executive producer Pete Nowalk said that he was shocked and disappointed about the mistake. He shared on Twitter the complete portion of the love scene between law student Connor and his love interest, Oliver. He also added that fans should let him know if there will be another censorship or edits done to his show.

Jack Falahee, an American actor who plays Connor Walsh, also expressed his reaction on Twitter saying, "Damn, this is crazy. Do you really believe that audiences in Italia aren't "ready" for real life? Even Vatican has begun to open its eyes."

"How to Get Away With Murder" executive producer Shonda Rhimes expressed on Twitter that "Censorship of any love scene or act is inexcusable."  With this case, she also asked if fans have noticed LGBTQ scenes that were censored on her shows in other countries before.

Rai 2 promptly responded to the fans' disapproval about the show's edited version. They already apologized to the fans through its network director Ilaria Dallatana because of the excess of modesty, Towle Road reported. Nowalk thanked Rai 2 for acknowledging the issue immediately.

"How to Get Away with Murder" is an American drama television series that airs every Thursdays, 10:00 p.m. Eastern on ABC under the all night block of drama series produced by Shonda Rhimes. It is broadcasted in Italy on Rai 2, a public television station, under Sky's Fox platform. Watch the scene here.
