Xbox' Project Scorpio, the next generation of console from Microsoft, will feature trade-in program with the Xbox One owners. The tech giant hopes to convince trade-ins for the millions of Xbox One players who wants to upgrade into a more prevailing console.

Xbox services GM, Dave McCarthy, stated that they are aiming for smoother transition as possible and by doing this trade-in program will help them continue to move forward as some of their retain partners have also done that. He also cited that Microsoft might also get involved on making comfortable deals to the Xbox One gamers, Daily Star reported

The purpose of this trade-in is to make the Xbox One gamers not to feel left out. With Scorpio releasing next year, Xbox games such as Gears of War 4 and Halo Wars 2 will be compatible for the super controller. This is to ignore the negative feeling of the gamers to give up their beloved games because of compatibility issues, iDigitalTimes reported.

Gamers who have bought an "Xbox Play Anywhere" game unlocks access on any of the consoles. Though, not all games coming to Xbox One will be included on the Xbox Play Anywhere program, Microsoft reassures that every Xbox One game will toil with the Project Scorpio and vice versa.

It a great move from Microsoft to help those gamers who wants the new controller for Xbox' Project Scorpio to save a little bit of their money upon doing the upgrade. That is why they are encouraging those gamers to do a trade-in.

By doing so, there will be a big chance of Microsoft having a win-win situation. After the owners giving up their consoles for Xbox' Project Scorpio, reselling a secondhand Xbox One console is a possible scenario, which would incur a lesser price than the usual in the market. And hoping that maybe they could persuade some PS4 owners to purchase the secondhand console.

There are no exact dates given of when will be the start of the trade-in programs and the details of the official release and price of the Xbox' Project Scorpio super console are still unknown. Only one thing that's certain from the new console, it will feature 4K gaming resolution and uses computer chips from the big names in the industry. So, it will expected to be a little bit of expensive.
