"Pokemon GO" has taken over the lives of those who get to experience it on the first days of its launch. It is now safe to claim that no one has deprived himself of the "Pokemon GO" saga as cops, children, schoolers and queer professionals who sneak out of work to walk or catch a Pokemon hanging around the office corridors.

"Pokemon GO" has not even launched globally yet. But it almost seized the population of US, New Zealand and Australia already as it dominates Twitter and headlines. The trend do not only impact the players' lives but also threatens other entities that requires users' attention like Twitter. "Pokemon GO" as trending topic is good with Twitter but to almost overtake the platform is superb.

"Pokemon GO's popularity and massive social media impact has surpassed Twitter (TWTR +4.09%) in daily active users on Android, the data was published by SimilarWeb. In the last 48 hours, "Pokemon GO" has been installed 5.6 percent in all Android devices in the US. It also took over Tinder for Android installation and even now more popular than sex jokes.

"Pokemon GO" has an average user spending more than twice the Snapchat App. Even Facebook (FB +1.19%) posts are overrun by "Pokemon GO". Furthermore, "Pokemon GO" hit number one in Google (GOOGL +1.53%) Play store overtaking mammoth competitors like FB, Snapchat and Instagram. Check out more insights from SimilarWeb here.

All this impact and attention gathered by" Pokemon GO" blurs all present data and it has not even been released yet globally. Currently, it was only available in US, New Zealand, and Australia. Even its APK downloadable was overtaken by some excited Pokemon fans outside the triumvirate release ports. Niantic Labs has actually called to halt their global rollout due to overwhelming demands sited on their servers, Forbes added.
