The video game company and the developer of "Spider-Man PS4" game - Insomniac Games, has a disappointing information about the video game's release date.

"Spider-Man PS4" game had been slated for a December 26, 2017 release by United States retailer GameStop. Unfortunately, this appears to be a feeling of displeasure, and fans of the "Spider-Man PS4" game will have to wait longer to find out more.

The American video game developer Insomniac posed on their Twitter account and stated that all they can say for now is there is no release date. The tech company will not going to announce one anytime soon.

But, as the video game has been in the development for well over a year, so it's very likely that the PS4 game of the web slinger won't come out before late 2017, based on the report of Dual Shockers.

Despite the announcement of a release date of "Spider-Man PS4" may be some way off, that doesn't necessarily mean the video game is years away from launch. One video game fan formed a theory that the Spider Man video game probably wouldn't launch for another two years.

Insomniac replied to the fan speculation by saying that who said that the release date of the game is 2 years away? The tech giant continued, and stated that fans should stay tuned, as the company is still working on the game and can narrow it down closer, Express reported.

However, the "Spider-Man PS4" game was unveiled at E3 2016, and has since been firmly established to be a standalone experience and it is not linked to Tom Holland's upcoming "Spider-Man: Homecoming" film.

The upcoming video game will let gamers take command of a skillful Peter Parker who is more powerful at fighting crime, according to Game Spot.

Bill Rosemann, Marvel Games creative director, previously stated that he thinks they have been inspired by all the different mediums that Marvel Cinematic Universe has.
