"Portal 3" and other third entries of Valve games are rumored to thrive. The revelation was made through a Valve employee's accidental screenshot of his file directory that had a "Left 4 Dead 3" folder in it.

Valve conceptual artist Tristan Reidford unwittingly posted a screenshot of his desktop during his tutorial for the Destinations Workshop Tool. The image showed a folder pertaining to the unannounced sequel of the game "Left 4 Dead." The screenshot became even more suspicious when it was promptly removed and replaced with Reidford's default folder after the leak sparked fire online, Mobile N Apps reported.

ValveTime, a Valve fan site, however was able to save a screen capture before it was hastily taken down. This flamed the rumors as the fans of the game believed that the accidental leak is real. No official statement from the game developers has been reported yet.

Valve's other titles, be it a tease or a coincidence, may reportedly have third entries to appease their fans and increase profit outside of Valve's Steam platform. Other than "Left 4 Dead," other notable Steam game series only reached a second entry, GameRanx reported.

"Portal" is one of the famous series from Valve that has yet to continue their streak of strong and memorable gameplay on the PC. If "Left 4 Dead 3" is real, fans may chase more hints on the next Valve game entries.

The "Portal" is a game that offers a unique gameplay where players must solve puzzles and challenges by opening portals, maneuvering objects, and moving themselves through space. The game also, according to fans, has a solid story and a menacing antagonist that threatens to lock a character inside the facility permanently.

It is common knowledge that fans from the gaming community have been waiting for the next entries to their favorite Valve games. However, fans will still need to wait until Valve officially confirms the latest news.
