Microsoft's Windows 10 upgrade will take a final push to convince users to upgrade their operating systems before the end of free update in July 29.

Before, upgrade notifications of Microsoft's Windows 10 have been subjected to many complaints because it annoyed many people. Therefore, Microsoft had been modifying their prompt to make it less confusing for the users with Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 installed. However, before the free upgrade ends, Microsoft will make a big move to convince users.

Before the end of the free upgrade in July 29, Microsoft will be using a full screen prompt to get the attention of the users. The full screen pop-up will begin by saying "sorry to interrupt" and then note that the free Windows 10 upgrade will end on July 29. There will be multiple options to pick for users with Windows 7 or Windows 8.1. The users can pick either to upgrade immediately, notify three more times, or remind later. There is also an option to never notify again, The Verge reported.

However, not everyone will be able to see this full-screen prompt. If the user has the recent version of 'Get Windows 10', there will be no notification. If a computer is not compatible with the Windows 10 upgrade, the user will not see the prompt. Also, if the device has been upgraded to the latest OS but uninstalled it, the user will not see the full-screen prompt. Furthermore, there are existing methods that blocks the upgrade notification for Windows 10. This will also block the full-screen notification. It will not appear if the user selected the 'do not notify me gain' button and if the upgrade prompt is disabled using registry key settings, PC World reported.

After the given date, July 29, Microsoft will charge the Windows 10 upgrade for $119. So, the company urges everyone to avail the free upgrade in the next few weeks.
