Ubisoft Montreal, a video game developer company, has now firmly established that the company will be ditching the AR mini games in the forthcoming "Watch Dogs 2." The mini games will be replaced with more side quests as well as secrets throughout the city.

Game director Danny Belanger stated that as AR games will not be featured in the upcoming open world action-adventure video game - "Watch Dogs," they will be offering more city exploration of the video game.

Belanger also said that as the player is walking around the city, the player will open Nethack, and the player will come across operations and secrets will open side quests if they want, according to Gaming Bolt.

Even the AR mini games were not that essential of the original "Watch Dogs," however, it did bring more content and amusement for bored gamers. The original video game was financially a success for Ubisoft, but many have indicated the faults of the game title for being too repetitive, based on the report of Yibada.

The  graphics downgrade was also an issue for the AR mini games, which was clearly seen if the first advertisement of the video game were shown side by side with the finished product.

However, one gameplay element of the video game that will continue from the original release is seamless co-operative play, in which gamers will hold the ability to call upon a DedSec ally when the situation gets tough, We Got This Covered reported.

In addition, the "Watch Dogs 2" was confirmed at E3 2016 that it would let gamers play through the video game without killing anyone. It was also made known at the event that PS4 players would get all the DLC first, according to Game Spot.

The upcoming video game has been scheduled for November 15 to fire up across PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
