Ubisoft has confirmed that the new "Watch Dogs 2" would feature an updated driving engine, which would be an improvement from the first game, as well as a new location setting for the game.

"Watch Dogs 2" is expected to be launched in November. Ubisoft has confirmed that it has developed a new driving engine for the new game, Attack of The Fanboy reported.

Dominic Guay, senior producer of the latest installment, stated that the improved engine was due to mixed reactions from the first game's driving experience. Many fans had voiced out their negative sentiments about the first game's driving engine, which seems Ubisoft had heard and took action.

Guay teased that the new driving engine integrated with their latest game is an improvement from the previous title. The senior producer stated that the driving experience is an integral part of the game, and his team wanted the experience to be fun.

It is reported that the team had asked Ubisoft Reflections to work on a new driving engine for their new game, all the while heeding its fans' requests.

Ubisoft had announced its development of "Watch Dogs 2" early this year, and this resulted in a hyped release with an expected launch in November.

Fans are quick to speculate that the driving would be improved, as well as a better integration with the game mechanics and driving simulation, according to Stevivor.

The new game would be set in San Francisco. The developers had revealed that they have developed a wider scope of exploration within the game map, citing fans' requests for more "freedom."

Guay had stated that the game developers aimed to improve the driving experience within the game, all the while creating an intuitive gameplay.

The game features an open-world experience, where players assume the character of a hacker. The game mechanics allow the players to infiltrate urban infrastructures, access mobile phones, among others. The previous game suffered from unintuitive controls, and the new installment seems to have fixed the problem, Kotaku reported.
