"Game of Thrones" fans are now looking forward for its Season 7. "Game of Thrones" rumor said that it is the Targaryen blood that will define the King in the North Jon Snow's future.

The "Game of Thrones" season 6 left fans with the question of Jon Snow's real identity. In the finale, it was revealed that Jon Snow is both a Stark and a Targaryen. Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark gave Jon Snow a different name that fits his high breed origin before they died. Jon is actually Jaehaerys Targaryen, the name whispered by Lyanna to Ned Stark shortly before passing, Pref reported.

Following the fall of the Targaryen dynasty, they were methodically eliminated down the child members of the family. Ned Stark was fully aware that his friend, King Robert Baratheon, will not spare Jon Snow if he had known the real story, Tech Insider reported.

A "Game of Thrones" avid fan and Redditor sparkledavisjr shared that the truth is now out that Jon Snow may become ruler of Westeros one day. Jon Snow will eventually rule from King's Landing of Winterfell. The new fan theory offered by sparkledavisjr also indicated that Jon is the namesake of two Seven Kingdom kings, both Targaryens and remarkable rulers.

Jaehaerys I, Jon Snow's ancestor, was a king who was given the prophecy that Redditors labeled as The Prince That Was Promised or PTWP. The old Jaehaerys was convinced that PTWP will be delivered through the Targaryens. With the prophecy in mind, Rhaegar pursued Lyanna, notwithstanding that she was already engaged to Robert. The two fell in love and eloped, then the baby Jaehaerys was born.

"Game of Thrones" shift of power in Westeros forced Ned to hide Jaehaerys' true identity and out came Jon Snow. But the young Targaryen will soon reclaim his destiny and basing on the history known about Jaehaerys I, the signs are there for the new Jaehaerys to follow same route taken by grandfather from generations ago.
