"BioShock" remasters will arrive free to all PC users who already own "BioShock" and "BioShock 2".

2K Games officially announced the future release of their new game bundle, "BioShock: The Collection". This new game collection would contain remastered versions of the first two games, "BioShock" and "BioShock 2". This collection bundle will also contain the new game for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, "BioShock Infinite".

The new collection of "BioShock" games will arrive in the digital market this September 13. The whole game collection will be sold at $59.99. It will be available for the top three platforms in gaming: PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.

The game has been available to PC since it was first launched. So, the remasters upgrade will come free for PC's that already have the first 2 "BioShock" games installed in the units. The remasters of these two games are the most important part of this game collection bundle. The newly added game for consoles, "BioShock Infinite", is a bonus to the collection that will be sold in the market.

"BioShock: The Collection" bundle will include the remasters of the first two "BioShock" games and the new "Bioshock Infinite". Inside the bundle, there will also be "Imagining BioShock" which is a video commentary featuring Ken Levine and Shawn Robertson. The collection will also contain Minerva's Den and Protector's Trial downloadable contents, PC Gamer reported.

There is also another good news for all the PC gamers. "BioShock" games are currently discounted due to the Steam Summer Sale. Each of the games are now sold for only $3.99 in Steam while "Bioshock Infinite" can be bought in the summer sale for at $7.49. Steam also offers all three in a bundle that only costs $10.51. It is well advised for PC users to grab the games now for $10.51 and get the free upgrades later. It is way cheaper than paying $59.99 for the bundle in September, Technobuffalo reported.
