The Undertaker fans, rejoice! Although it looked like "The Phenom" has bid WWE goodbye after his Hell in a Cell match at WrestleMania 32, recently-surfaced rumors hint he will go toe-to-toe with John Cena at WrestleMania 33.

While Wrestlemania 32 was still in the pipeline, rumor mills churned speculations hinting a John Cena vs. The Undertaker showdown; a dream matchup before "The Deadman" Undefeated Streak was triumphed by Brock Lesnar.

Except for making an appearance to help The Rock keep The Wyatt Family at bay, John Cena mostly stayed off the Wrestlemania card citing a shoulder injury.

The Undertaker, on the other hand was totally occupied with "Shane O'Mac" inside the Hell in a Cell and he walked out of Dallas with an impressive career WrestleMania record of 23-1.

This immediately sparked speculation among the WWE Universe hinting that The Undertaker might not step into the four-sided again, Inquisitr reported.

However, the speculation wasn't baseless. The Undertaker has not made an appearance on WWE television following his Hell in a Cell Match at this year's WrestleMania.

If rumors doing rounds are anything to go by, "The Dead Man" was not happy with Vince McMahon, who urged him to perform inside the wrestling ring at SummerSlam 2016. However, the rumored feud seems to have finally subsided with Mr. McMahon and The Undertaking moving towards what's "best for business," Ring Talkk reported.

The Undertaker took to his rumored official Twitter handle to retweet a fanmade poster of him and "The Doctor of Thuganomics" teasing an imminent showdown between two of the greatest professional wrestlers in the WWE.

What's worth noting here though is that The Undertaker's account has not been verified so there is a possibility this could just be a parody account trying to grab some attention.

That said, The Undertaker vs. John Cena was scheduled for this year, and there are chances it could be in the cards again in Orlando.

WrestleMania 33 will be the 25th WrestleMania for Mark William Calaway a.k.a. The Undertaker, and this may very well be the 51-year-old wrestling legend's last appearance on WWE television.

If rumors proved to be true, facing a wrestler of Cena's stature will be an apt exit for the wrestling star that has retained the top spot of the WWE for 14 years.

With nine months still to go before the much-awaited WWE PPV (pay per view), WresleMania 33, injuries are inevitable. The WWE Universe can only hope to get a chance to witness what may go down in the history as one of the best WrestleMania matches.

Until the World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. confirms this, it's recommended to take these rumors with a grain of salt.
