There are rumors revolving around the new graphics card, Radeon RX 400 series by AMD including the price.

The RX series of AMD graphics card initially announced, the RX 470 and RX 460, are packed for a better gaming performance. They are also compatible and performing smooth with VR systems. The series also includes the RX 480 which is the top-end of the series. All three cards are available starting June 29.

 All three graphics card will be available in two variants: the RX 480 will have 8 GB and 4 GB, the same goes with the RX 470, and the RX460 will have 4 GB and 2 GB versions.

Rumors says that Radeon RX 470 4 GB variant will cost $149 while its 8 GB version will cost $179. Customers need only to pay $99 for the 2 GB model of RX 460 and the 4 GB variant will cost $119. It is a part of AMD's campaign to upgrade consumer's VR-capable devices at a low price, Digitaltrends reported.

AMD's RX 470 graphics card I supposed to have 2,048 stream processors and 1,750 MHZ clock speed. It will also have a memory bandwidth of 224 GB per second and a 256-bit interface. The card is based on the Polaris 10 Pro architecture and will draw only 80 to 110 watts of power.

The cheaper version, RX 460 will have 1,024 stream processors, 1,250 MHz clock speed and a 128-bit memory interface. It will draw around 45 to 75 watts power and is based on the Polaris 11 architecture. The bandwidth of this graphics card is 112 GB per second.

The Radeon RX 400 series will have the cards manufactured exclusively by AMD while custom add-ins will be made by AMD's partners such as Gigabyte, MSI, and Asus. These solutions will be sold at $99 to $300 and will also hit the market in June 29, WCCF Tech reported.

Nvidia, on the other hand is reportedly having trouble with regards to the supplies of their GTX 1070 and GTX 1080. These video cards are hard to come by and quite  expensive being at $859.
