While HTC fans wait with bated breath for the Taiwanese tech firm to roll out its much-awaited flagship on April 12, rumor mills have not ceased churning speculations around the upcoming device.

Despite the announcement date closing in, leaks continue to surface online, giving fans a peek at some more info regarding the highly-anticipate HTC 10. Recently leaked specs sheets divulge what looks like seemingly accurate details of the device, leaving almost nothing to the imagination.

But that's not all, it looks like yet another decisive aspect of the phone might have made an appearance online earlier than its scheduled debut.

A couple of screenshots recently breezed in, allegedly giving fans a glimpse of HTC's Sense 8 UI, and judging by the leaked images, it looks like its not really a far cry from past Sense iterations, Phone Arena reported.

The Taiwanese smartphone maker recently announced that HTC Sense Home 8 will roll out as a closed beta. The launcher began rolling out on June 23, enabling non-HTC Android devices to experience the full efficiency of the Sense Home 8.

An array of HTC apps from the Google Play Store are decoupled from the main OS, hinting that a complete system update is not required for the OEM to overhaul them.

In addition, the decoupled apps can be tweaked to work on an array of smartphones, except the HTC - for instance - the HTC Zoe that enable users to capture and create awe-inspiring videos with the help of a variety of Android-based devices.

HTC started rolling out invites to select users to beta test the Sense Home 8. The invitation emails, codenamed GOOGKE_PLAY_SENSE_GP started rolling out on June 23, Ausdroid reported.

Only users with a compatible smartphone that runs Android KitKat 4.4 or above can benefit from the closed beta. The developer will reportedly pick its own testers so users will need to wait to find out if they got the nod. Those selected, will receive an email from HTC very soon.

Apart from deciding whether to take part or not, it is important for the users to move fast as testers are slated to get the UI on a "First come, first serve" basis.

It is worth noting that Sense Home 8 is the current launcher that tapped the HTC 10 smartphone. Users familiar with the app dubbed it as smooth, clear and clean, besides boasting delightful features.

No doubt, all the upcoming features are anticipated to be nothing short of awe-inspiring, one feature that takes the cake is the "Freestyle layouts."

This feature enables users to organize app icons, stockers and widgets the way they prefer on the home screens.

This further cements Sense Home 8 as a highly customizable stock launcher available on the market.

Some of the Reddit users who reportedly have received an invitation claim there is a possibility HTC will get rid of layout settings and quick settings in future.
