The Citibank is currently upgrading its mobile banking app with the help of Amazon's "Alexa" program, a voice-activated virtual operator.

The expected grandeur of Citibank's replenished mobile app is the user's acquired ability to get in one's account through facial recognition.

The Citibank had had released information in the media of its desired upgrade 6 months ago.

When the company has had found a worthy mobile partner, it immediately conducted a battery of test runs with the said virtual operator, the Fortune reported.

Test runs are necessary procedures an investing corporation has to take in order for it to determine the maximum capacity of the software or system it utilizes.

By the time the test runs are completed, the Citibank will have finally launched its brand new, advance, voice and face-activated mobile app, the China Post reported.

Fortunately, the all-new mobile app will still be powered by the Capital One bank.

There are only amazing benefits to this- an easy-application that allows direct-payment methods from person-to-person or person-to-company, a voice, touch or face-activated account log-in, an easy credit card payment/check, plus a load more, the Citigroup claimed.

Subsequently, all these features are made possible due to the rare network of "biometrics" accounted for in the Alexa program.

Further expanding the corporate horizons, the Citibank- from Citigroup respectively, recalls partnership with a number of Fintech startups.

Hopefully, the promised launching date for the latest yet-to-be-named upgraded mobile banking app has been set somewhere beginning October towards the last weeks of December, the Fortune again reported.

The Citibank creative technology department, with its team of highly-powered tech savvies, proceeds with the 2nd phase of its test run. This phase ensures that the mobile app get to scan and detect only a live person, and not otherwise, the Fortune again reported.

With this new mobile app, banking will definitely never be the same.
