The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 and Sony Xperia XA, both Dual-SIM smartphones boast an array of awe-inspiring features, and impressive specs.

Both the aforementioned devices support turbo charging technology however, Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 has an edge over Sony's flagship as it comes with an impressive 16-megapixel lens for its back camera.

Sony Xperia XA Dual, on the other hand packs a less powerful lens that boast 13-megapixel.

In addition, Redmi Note 3 is comparatively bigger than XperiaXA Dual with a mammoth 5.5-inch display coupled with 1080p x 1920p resolution and augmented with 103 ppi pixel density, News Everyday reported.

Packed with a mid-range processor, Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 is a phablet that first made its appearance in February.

Sporting a slew of superior hardware specs, the Sony Xperia XA Dual was announced in February but it was launched this month.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 3

This mid-ranger device sports a robust metallic body with a fingerprint scanner placed in the back. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 takes the cake as far as the cosmetic appearance is concerned.

Besides, measuring 8.7mm, it's not unduly thick either. The device runs a pre-installed Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, and there are currently no details regarding when it is slated to receive the latest software. However, this does not seem to affect its performance, which is quite decent. Apparently, the processor does a pretty good job.

What's inside the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3?

the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 is powered by a Qualcomm MSM8956 Snapdragon 650 chipset paired with a hexa core processor (quad-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A53, dual-core 1.8 GHz Cortex-A72) backed by 2 GB of RAM and an Adreno 510 GPU, but either for the variant with 3 GB of RAM with double storage or with 16 GB internal storage.

In 2015, the maximum supported external memory that could be expanded via a microSD was 128 GB, this year; smartphone makers have gone a step further and increased the capacity up to a whopping 256 GB.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 features a 16-megapixel camera with an aperture of f/2.0 - further augmented with some really impressive features including phase detection autofocus as well as dual-LED / dual tone flash. The front snapper is 5-megapixel.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 packs a mammoth battery that comes with an impressive capacity of 4000mAh.

The only drawback? The battery is not removable, Neuro Gadget noted.

Sony Xperia XA Dual

The device is comparatively smaller, and features a 5-inch screen, protected with a scratch-resistant glass and coupled with 720p x 1280p resolution at 294 ppi (pixel per inch).

The Sony Xperia XA Dual boasts a fingerprint scanner as well, however it is concealed by a button that's situated on the right side of the device along with the volume and power buttons.

Housed in a metal frame, the device has a plastic back and its thickness is 7.9mm.

Advantages: The Sony Xperia XA Dual runs the recently-released Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS and boasts a powerful processor, Mediatek MT6755 Helio P10 octa-core 2.0 GHz Cortex-A53. The device is upheld by 2 GB of RAM.
