Despite Apple Inc. launched two 2016 upgrades for iPhone, however, there is no release date for  iPhone 7 this year. Instead, the technology company reserved  "iPhone 7" for a 2017 release.

In that, Apple's fans will have to wait for the iPhone 8 in 2018, Yibada reported.

A three-year upgrade cycle was embraced by Apple's "iPhone 6," which means the succeeding gadget will unleash, bearing the same design that was kicked off in 2014, Venture Beat reported.

It has been said that the 3.5mm audio jack will be removed in the 2016 iPhone, which supposedly encouraged the tech giant to set aside the label of iPhone 7 for the 2017 refresh.

As Apple smartphone users will have to wait for the iPhone 7 flagship device's 10th year anniversary and not for the iPhone 8, it will be worth the wait,  as the technology company will bring new vigor to iPhone 4's rear glass.

Apple Inc. plans to break their recent pattern of fixing up the design of its core product iPhone every two years, Wall Street Journal reported.

It seemed the major revamp of the iPhone series will not happen this year, and the redesign of the technology company will produce an all-glass iPhone, BGR reported.

Jony Ive, Apple Chief Design Officer, desired for years for the iPhone to give an impression of a single sheet of glass.

However, after the largely identical generations of "iPhone 6" and "iPhone 6s," the "iPhone 7" will definitely get a considerable physical redesign, MacWorld reported.

The "iPhone 7's" battery life may come a little better compared to the "iPhone 6s" and "iPhone 6s Plus," but, Apple Chief Design Officer Ive, claimed that the tech company doesn't consider a higher battery life. As the larger-screen "iPhones" already have a decent battery.

An Apple insider made it known that OLED suppliers, like Samsung and the Japanese multinational corporation Sharp, are gearing up for the use of the material for the iPhone.
