Sony made it known to the public that next week, Vue live TV and video streaming service will be available on Android.

Android smartphones and tablets with Android 4.4 or higher can utilize the Vue app, and the app will give assistance to the casting.

PlayStation Vue, a TV service from Sony, essentially aims to be an alternative cable service - that offers cable, premium, and specialty channels with pricing packages that ranges from $29.99 up to $54.99 per month.

PlayStation Vue also renders a  variety of a la carte channels. And now, with an incoming Android app, people will be able to Vue anywhere they want - as well as on TVs without PlayStations (with Cast), Android Police reported.

It was also revealed that Roku, a series of digital media player, is getting a Vue channel, which adds more support for Sony's surprisingly adept streaming and TV offering in the United States.

A teaser surfaced last year that PlayStation Vue would be getting Cast support (which it does currently have on iOS), however, that seemed to be a bad idea to do without just making a full-on Android streaming app to work with it. Vue already has apps for Amazon Fire TV, as well as for iPhone and iPad.

As Roku Streaming players, Roku TV and Roku Streaming Stick will be available on PlayStation Vue, a person will just download PlayStation Vue on their Roku device and they can start streaming.

While others who don't have a PlayStation Vue account, they just have to sign up for the seven-day free trial option via the PlayStation Vue website, or through their PS4 or PS3, PlayStation Blog reported.

However, PlayStation Vue is not available to stream on PC, as well as some of the devices that people would expect like, the PlayStation TV or PlayStation Vita, Gotta Be Mobile reported.
