"Samsung Galaxy S7" and "S7 Edge" Android smartphone have started receiving a new update for the month of June, the upgrade includes the smartphone's monthly Android security patches.

The update brings along the camera improvements of "Samsung Galaxy S7" and "S7 Edge," that resolved the initial video playback where it vary a rapid brightness after recording. As well as the problem regarding the previews of specific direction are shown in red or green, GSMarena reported.

As stated in Samsung's shared details, the June security maintenance of "Samsung Galaxy S7" and "S7 Edge" includes patches from Google. Along with the security patch for June are the nine Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE), IB Times reported.

The update also includes other bug fixes like the issue of camera could not be opened from the lock screen while the S View cover is attached. The update also resolved the issue of recorded videos were not shown in Quick view after recording.

However, after the Federal Communications Commission looked into device security of wireless carriers in the U.S., Verizon's security unleashed the monthly Android security patches to Samsung Galaxy S7 series, Morning News USA reported.

Verizon Communications, Inc. claimed the update was out since the previous week, and it offered users the most updated Android security patches.

"Samsung Galaxy S7" and "S7 Edge" users can access the Android security patches through the over-the-air or OTA update. Specifically, the Android security patches is available through build version MMB29M.G930VVRU2APE1.

On the other hand, Verizon also started to produce the latest update to its Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge+, Android Authority reported.

However, the latest update did not come along with the new features, but the upgrade includes Google's latest Android security patches - as the update brings the security of Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge+ up to the latest Android June patch.
