Apple, Inc. will launch a new application that teaches kids the basic of programming. Apple Swift Playgrounds provides lessons and coding challenges ideal for children.

Apple just announced good news for everyone which is specially addressed to the kids. Apple just launched the Swift Playgrounds App that teaches kids to code in Swift,  TC Crunch Network reported.This application was actually introduced two years ago and since then it became a huge hit to young developers. Apple decided to launch new application which aims to teach kids basic coding skills in a chosen language by Apple.

Swift Playgrounds, when you first open it, numerous basic coding lessons and challenges will be seen. Since the target audience is children, the application is created in a way that the children will be more interested and motivated to use it. It is more graphical, playful and catchy to the eyes of the kids. Also, in order for the children to access it in a much simpler way, Apple used a special keyboard with a number of shortcuts and features that will make it easier to enter a code.

One of the features which the kids should look forward to is the newly introduced programming language as well as lessons on basic programming concepts like conditionals  and loops. It uses an animated character which will perform the challenges in the said application. Swift Playgrounds offers a lot of lessons in order for the students to learn how to code,  Fast Company reported.  "Fundamental of Swift" it is a 3-D puzzle game in which the gamer controls a character called Byte to collect gems. Swift Playgrounds also provides templates that will develop the user's creativity in creating their own coding masterpiece.

What's more exciting about this Apple's new application is that, it is accessible, fun and it's a very good help for starters who wanted to learn the basics of coding. The application is also a free download for everyone which is why it has already received positive feedbacks and praises from the citizens.
