Apple WWDC 2016 finally revealed the biggest changes on the company's OS, apps and features.

Hello to MacOS

It is no longer OS X because Apple WWDC 2016 finally revealed that the new operating system is named MacOS and Apple nicknamed it with Sierra, CNET reported. Next month, the company will launch public beta with features include saving Mac desktop to cloud, copy past across multiple Apple gadgets, and the ability unlock Mac using Apple's smartwatch.

Siri is coming to desktop

There was a rumor that Siri will be available on desktop after being an assistance in Apple's mobile system, Indian Express reported. The rumor is true especially after Apple WWDC 2016 announced that the voice-assistant will be available on the desktop and users who do not wish to use their fingers to type, could ask Siri to find their files or search something from the browser.

Apple Watch OS 3 is seven times faster

Tim Cook addressed keynote to the global audience in Bill Graham San Francisco. The next generation of Apple Watch is faster and smarter. There are option to reply messages, more apps on the dock and instant update is part of the OS.

Apple Pay

This is another innovative upgrade announced at Apple WWDC 2016. Apple Pay is now available through Safari browser but the verification will use TouchID feature from your smartphone or smartwatch. It will shorten the steps, including credit card input detail that's no longer needed. Apple Pay feature is currently accessible in UK, US, Australia, Canada and Singapore, The Verge reported.

A revamp on Apple News design being rolled out. There are Top News section followed by Trending and Sports - more publications of 2,000 items and readers up to 60 million monthly. The news is based on the reader's reading habit whilst editor picks are also featured in Featured Stories.

Apple Music discovery mix

Apple WWDC 2016 also announced a minor update on Apple Music. The new category discovery mix will listen to your music taste and there will be playlists on daily basis from Editor Picks to help you find best music to play.
