"Transformers: The Last Knight" is scheduled to hit theaters June 23, 2017 and Michael Bay is keeping us stunned with his weekly revelations.

"Bumble Bee's Upgraded Chevrolet Camaro Look

It seems that Michael Bay's live-action "Transformers" franchise will not be complete without one of its veteran characters. Indeed, "Bumblebee" is back in the upcoming "Transformers: The Last Knight" and he has got some grooming for the 2017 film edition, Digital Trend reported.

"Bumblebee" is the heroic yellow Autobot that has been in all of Bay's Transformers films. Now Bee is appearing in a customized 2016 Chevrolet Camaro in "The Last Knight." This was revealed by Bay in a posting on Michael Bay website titled Bee is Back.

Being a constant figure of the live-action franchise since the 2007 revamp, "Bumblebee" originally appeared as a 1977 Camaro. Every succeeding film has upgraded Bumblebee's look to the latest model of Chevrolet Camaro which are typically with a heavily customized body.

Bumblebee's image posted by Bay is the third massive announcement of a robot character in "The Last Knight," Fox News reported. Optimus Prime and Megatron have both been confirmed to be back for the fifth chapter of Transformers. Josh Duhamel and Mark Wahlberg are confirmed to return as the film's human cast but reprising their roles as Lieutenant Colonel Lennox and Cade Yeager, respectively.

Newcomer Character Tease

One very important newcomer to the franchise was revealed over the weekend. The film execs announced that Sir Anthony Hopkins is joining the film in an indefinite role that is highly expected to be a human character and not a robot's voice. On the other hand, new additions to the cast include Isabela Moner from films "100 Things to Do Before High School" and "Growing Up Fisher" and Jerrod Carmichael of "The Carmichael Show" and "Neighbors," DT added.

After "Transformers: The Last Knight," Bumblebee is expected to headline its self starring movie in 2018. This suggests that another tune-up is not too way off for the popular character.
