Donald Trump has released tax returns just right after audit is done. The presidential candidate announced Wednesday that he is planning to distribute taxes when the IRS audit has been finalized. This announcement comes after Trump told the Associated Press the previous day that he would not make tax documents available.

On Wednesday, Trump tweeted insisted that he would release the details of his taxes paid out to the Internal Revenue Service, right before the election is closely approaching, not after the election, according to CNN Politics 

Trump tweeted this statement after Trump's criticizers, Mitt Romney and other Republicans, encouraged Trump to enable his tax returns to become available.

Because Trump's tax returns since 2009 are still being audited, it is not probable that Trump would release prior to the November 2016 election, supposed he would stand by his argument.

Julie Pace, one of the AP reporters, interviewed Trump on CNN's "At This Hour." She narrated the insight she had of tax audits and Trump's candidacy for president. Pace said:

"He still leaves himself this out by saying if this audit wraps up before the November election, then sure he'll release his tax returns. We said, 'Will you push your lawyers on this, will you tell them that voters deserve to know this information regardless of the audit?'

The tax returns release is not a legal requirement for the presidential candidates to comply with. However, in the past, party nominees have always released details surrounding their tax details, earnings and charitable remittances, according to The Independent

Tax History Project's Joseph Thorndike announced that Trump would be the first leading presidential candidate since 1976 to enable his full returns to go public. Former U.S. president, Gerald Ford, produced a summary of his taxes, but not in its entirety.
