The past week of college basketball was relatively quiet given the amount of upsets that have taken place throughout the season, but Selection Sunday is creeping ever closer, so the playoff picture is getting clearer.

According to The Associated Press, Villanova kept its place atop the poll for the second consecutive week, getting 44 first-place votes. Villanova is riding a five-game win streak and is poised to run away with Big East regular season title.

After wins over West Virginia and Oklahoma, Kansas jumped four spots to claim second overall in the AP Top 25, also receiving 21 first-place votes. Defending an 11-year regular season conference title streak, Kansas has now split its season series with West Virginia and swept its series with Oklahoma.

Despite its loss to Kansas, Oklahoma stayed put at third overall, but lost all of the seven first-place votes it had last week. Iowa remained at fourth, followed by North Carolina, Maryland, Virginia, Michigan State, Xavier, and West Virginia to round out the Top 10.

USA Today now projects Kansas, Virginia, Villanova, and Oklahoma as the likely one-seeds for the NCAA Tournament, leaving Iowa, West Virginia, North Carolina, and Xavier as two-seeds.
