During its recent three-game losing streak, Duke's margin of defeat was 11 points combined, and the Blue Devils followed it up by beating N.C. State by 10 on the road.

But it does not seem that Duke has snapped out of its funk, having lost by 11 to Miami (17) on the road and falling off the Top 25 for the first time in eight years, according to The Associated Press.

Duke's loss also dropped the team to fours games off North Carolina's lead of the ACC. Over its stretch run, Duke can either climb its way back up the AP Top 25 poll, having two games remaining against North Carolina (2), two against Louisville (19), and one against Virginia (9), or fall farther down the conference standings.

Oklahoma (1) remained atop the poll with a big win over Texas Tech and a thrilling victory against Ben Simmons and LSU. Rounding out the Top 10 was Villanova (3), Maryland (4), Iowa (5), Xavier (6), Kansas (7), Texas A&M (8), Virginia, and Michigan State (10).

This time last week, Oklahoma barely clung to the top spot with 36 first-place votes, having lost to Iowa State (13) that week. The Sooners regained some its ground since being the unanimous choice two weeks ago, getting 45 first-place votes to North Carolina's 20.
